The fastest way to travel from Delhi to Srinagar is by air. The flight duration is approximately 1:30 hours. Several airlines operate daily flights between Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) in Delhi and Sheikh ul-Alam International Airport (SXR) in Srinagar.
By Train
There is no direct train to Srinagar. You need to travel to Jammu Tawi first and then take a road trip or another mode of transportation to Srinagar. The journey to Jammu takes approximately 6-10 hours.From Jammu Tawi, you can take a bus, taxi, or shared cab to Srinagar.
By Road
You can drive or take a bus from Delhi to Srinagar.The most common route is via NH44.
